SIU ARENA RENOVATION
Millions of fans have filled the storied, 8,600-seat venue since it opened in the earl y 1960s, witnessing superstars and cheering numerous championship teams. 360 Architecture's redesign preserved the venue's best qualities while enhancing its fan experience. The project provided:
+ A new main entry, via a central atrium, that connects the arena with a new athletics support facility
+ A new permanently structured upper seating bowl with padded chair-back seating
+ 1,200 chair-back seats added arena-wide
+ New, permanent concessions and restrooms placed into four “saddlebags,” improving the arena's tight circulation
+ Improved accessibility
+ Cohesive interior and exterior graphics package
+ New center-hung scoreboard with video capability
+ Two VIP club rooms

THE BOYDSTON CENTER
THE 56,000-S.F. SUPPORT FACILITY INCLUDES INTEGRATED OFFICE AND MEETING AREAS, SPACIOUS LOCKER ROOMS, AND NEW EQUIPMENT AND SPORTS MEDICINE SPACE FOR THE SALUKI FOOTBALL PROGRAM AND SIU'S MEN'S AND WOMEN'S ATHLETIC DEPARTMENTS. A CENTRAL FEATURE OF THE CENTER IS ITS DAYLIGHT-FILLED GRAND LOBBY, WHICH INCLUDES THE NEW SALUKI HALL OF FAME, A TICKET OFFICE AND TEAM STORE WHILE ALSO SERVING AS THE NEW FRONT DOOR TO THE RENOVATED SIU ARENA.

SALUKI STADIUM
THE $24 MILLION, 15,000-SEAT HOME OF SIUC'S FOOTBALL PROGRAM IS THE CENTERPIECE OF SALUKI WAY. ITS ARRAY OF FEATURES AND AMENITIES PROVIDES:
+ A CLOSE-IN SEATING BOWL WITH 1,080 CHAIRBACK SEATS
+ BERM SEATING FOR APPROXIMATELY 2,500 FANS
+ A 20- BY 40-FOOT VIDEO SCOREBOARD
